He Planned My Birthday

This was the first year I can ever remember that someone planned my birthday for me.

It’s not that nobody ever tried or wanted to. I don’t recall ever blocking it.

I’ve just that I’ve always known what I wanted and claimed it aloud.

A beach day (often solo) and then a small intimate dinner with people I love.
